Egg, Bacon and Toast Rocks

Egg, Bacon and Toast Rocks

★★★★★

Depth 15 metres

Egg Rock is protected from fishing. It breaks the surface from 15 metres deep and has strong currents, especially as the current squeezes between the rocks. It is best dived as a drift dive with a vessel to pick you up because it is a difficult site to anchor at.

You will see spectacular fish life at Egg Rock. Because of the strong currents in deeper water, coral cover is lower and diversity (24 coral species) is slightly less than at sites such as Humpy Island.

Bacon and Toast rocks are also protected from fishing and under the right conditions offer a great scuba dive.
