Pumpkin Island lies south of North Keppel Island. Privately owned, it has a boutique resort.

The island is split in two by a shallow channel.

There is great snorkelling all around the island and in the channel, but the south-eastern side is accessible only when there is little southeasterly or northeasterly swell.

The eastern side of the island has the greatest variety of corals (40 species counted).
